WHAT IS ZERO WASTE LIFESTYLE?

It is a practice in which we adapt sustainable lifestyle and reduce the amount of waste we produce.
The goal is to reduce the generation of waste which is to be sent in the oceans or landfills.


WHAT WE HAVE TO DO TO SAVE THIS PLANET?

Adapting the idea of zero waste is a great way to save this planet. You have to change some of your habits and also have to make some amount of effort . And your effort is going to be worthy. Here you have to follow the 3R principle; Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. So here I'll tell you about steps which is going to make a big difference.

Small Steps to begin-

1. Always carry 2-3 cloth carry bag with yourself so that you will be able to reject plastic bags.

2. You can't completely say no to everything made up of plastic so reuse and recycle the products made from plastic.

3. Always carry your own stainless steel water bottle. It is way better than plastic bottles.

4. Use small drawstring bags for the storage of small things. ( I'll tell you how to make it in my next blog)

5.  Recycle your old clothes by making small products out of it.

6. Donate your old clothes.

7. Avoid packaged food. Buy fruits instead when you are hungry.

8. Shop things secondhand.

9. Most important , think twice before you buy something. Ask yourself do you really need that thing. You don't need all the STUFF.


 And this is the jar of zero waste where you will collect all the non-biodegradable plastic waste. This will help you to judge how much waste you have produced .
